changes to released object

I have transported a request from deveopment to QAT , now theer were some problems in the report and now it needs to be corrected.Do I ask the team to transport it back to DEV and make necessary changes and then send it back to QAt or is there any other process to do it

Create one request and make the changes and again release the same

Hi Nikhil

Please make the required corrections again in DEV and save it in new transport request. Now transport this new transport request to QAT.

Once u realese the object to quality,

if u have new changes, u have to assign these changes to new transport request (It will ask when u try to save it)

Then u have to release the new TR to quality, then those changes will be effected in the Quality

Hi Nikhil,

Welcome to the Community,

A transport request released from Dev cannot be imported back to Dev.

Please do the fixes in Dev again, create another TR and transport it QA. Keep a log of, the order of movement of your both the transport request for further transports to Production in future.

Make the changes in Dev server and save it in a new request (will ask for a new request).SAVE it.And release .

Transport it to Quality server.

And Compare the version with the development server so that u can confirm whether the code is reflected in QAS .

Hi,

ur original work is still in development.

it doesnt go anywhere.

make the changes to it and assign a new request number to it and release it

to quality server.
