It works fine in 4.6 but in 6.0 when testing it fails. and the message is communication failed.

I have debugged and looked at the Remote function module and it returs sy-subrc = 1. (communication to the server failed).

What could be the reasons for this and how could we get this fixed.

Thanks,

Ster.

Edited by: Alvaro Tejada Galindo on Feb 4, 2008 3:50 PM

Check the type is this is according to your type (unicode/nonunicode) ?

We have this issue previously,

May this will help you.

hi,

the probable reason could be, logical systems are not configured.

The RFC destination should be configured.

if your using FM like Call fuinction 'XXXX' Destination <RFC dest> then RFC dest should be configured.

Please check how it is done in 4.6 and analyze the environement here in 6.0

Regards

Krishnan
