text elements in a shipment

Hi,

I create element texts for shipments in an abap program with create_text, save_text and commit_text. I can see text created in table STXH, but in the text folder of the shipment (vt03n) new text is not shown.

Shoul I do something in the shipment to show this text?

check whether your passing correct values to the fields - FID, FNAME and FOBJECT or not. those values should be related to the transaction VT03n.

If i create a new text in the shipment for a standard text id it is working fine, but for my text ids it is not showing the text.

Hi,

I'm trying to see a created text by Function 'CREATE_TEXT' but with transaction 'VT03N' this text isn't shown. Have you found any possible solution to this problem?. I've seen that the text is registered in table STXL and if you execute the function 'READ_TEXT' (in transaction 'SE37'), you'll see the created text.

HI,

Check wether Texts for Shipment are configured are not in SPRO.

If configured check whats the condition access table and sequence.

Yes, I found it.

It was a problem in customizing. Check your configuration:

SPRO-> Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions->Text Control
