Hi All,

I have created a BDC program for FB05. The program is working fine with all three modes namely 'A' ,'N' and 'E' . But when the same program is scheduled in as background job, it is not working. The error messages are with the screens : SAPMF05X ( screen number: 3100 )

176 items were selected FB05 1 SAPMF05A

The difference is too large for clearing FB05 1 SAPDF05X

No batch input data for screen SAPDF05X 3100 FB05 1 SAPDF05X

could you please advise me on this?

Did you set the mode as 'N' (No screen) when you execute in Background?

yes the mode is set to N when executing at back ground

Nothing wrong with your BDC... your FB05 transaction is encountering a tolerance error, a popup error is appearing causing the "No batch input data for screen".

The tolerance differences is IMG controlled.

Financial Accounting > Financial Accounting Global Settings > Document > Line Item

> Define Tolerance Groups for Employees

> Assign User/Tolerance Groups

Some of the lines have cash discounts that have to be cleared depending on the requirement you might want to deactivate cash discounts on line items or clear them.

I have the tolerence set . the error occurs at program SAPDF05X and screen 3100

Execution in mode "E" and "A" is done with your SAP user, but execution in mode N (or backgorund) is done with BATCH user.

The screens of FB05 transaction are configured according to user's configuration, so the most possible is that the configuration of both users is different.
