Hi Sunil,

When you create a new object say, a report program, database table etc, when you save it for the first time, it will open a pop-up window 'Create Object Directory Entry'.

You have to specify a package (which you have to create in SE80) and then click on 'Save'. It will now open a new window for Transport Request. Click on the button 'Create Request' (F8). It will again open a new pop-up. Give short description for TR and click on 'Save' button. It will come back to the previous window. Click on 'Continue'. Now if you save the object, it will be saved under the newly created TR.

If you need to create a TR for the existing object, you have to click on menu Goto->Object Directory Entry. Click on Change icon (F6). Then you can assign a package and the other steps are the same.

Reward points if useful.

Regards

Vidhya
