GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED- Dump while Creating Delivery

Hi all,

When I am trying to create Deliver for a Sale Order, then as soon as I save the Delivery, it displayes me message " Return Delivery XXXXXXX has been saved" but when I go to VL03 to see the delivery, it turns a Dump with heading " GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED".

In ST22 Dump is with the heading " Field Symbol not yet assigned"

Please note that we have just now upgraded from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 and we have come across this issue during functional testing.

Any Input for this issue are welcome.

Hi,

I think there must be some OSS note missing, system unable to find the field

compare the old version with upgraded version

then also analyse the dump and where the dump occured

IMHO, this kind of problem should be a topic for SAP support and is not to be placed here, where usually ABAP development topics are discussed...

Hi,

looking at the Dump Description, it seems to be a standard SAP issue where I need to apply some note or some thing.

But the problem is that the place where Dump is occuring in new system, that partciluar Include ( /SPE/V50SF07 ) and code does not exist in 4.6C.

Also I searched the notes with key word GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED but almost all which seems to be relavant are related to 4.6C.

Any Guidance/Support in this is highly appreciated.

Hello Lalit,

Could you please post the source code extract of the dump. It may be useful to analyse.

Also try activating the include /SPE/V50SF07. At times it may help us.

Error in the ABAP Application

Program

The current ABAP program "SAPLV50S" had to be terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

How to correct the error

If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to

find an interim solution in an SAP Note.

If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following

keywords:

"GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED" " "

"SAPLV50S" or "/SPE/V50SF07"

"/SPE/RET_HUS_GET" .......

The above code is at line number 436 in include program /SPE/V50SF07 and this program belongs to program SAPLV50S.

I checked the code but i dont know which t code is used to run this program

Check whether the field is of sma e type and also the smae has been declared

Keep one break at this positon and run your tcode and try to find whether the filed is having value or not

Hi,

This code is executed when I try to create Delivery for a sales Order, I go to Delivery Screen ( VL01) get the message that Delivery is successfully created.

Now when after this message, I go to VL02/03 to see the Delivery, Dump comes with the details mentioned in my last post.

Please help me if some one has clue about this.

Try using the TCODE VL03N instead of VL03 and let me know if it still going to dump.

Dear Kiran,

Program gives Dump for VL03N. The error is :

Express document "Update was terminated" received from author "XXXXXXXX"

As per my understanding Program gives dump while updating the database and there has to be some note as a solution to this problem. I searched service market place but all the notes are for 4.6C and not even a single for ECC 6.0. If some has any idea which note needs to be applied, please let me know.

Could you please send screen shots of the process that you are doing starting from creating the request and displaying along with dump.

Actually iam not getting dump in my system. Also please check the patch levels in your system for this application
