how to draw the Table Control through SE51..(Table with rows n columns)

Hi Rajesh,

There will be a Table Control Wizard.

It takes you through a sequence of steps.

Just follow the wizard's instructions.

Depending on your application you Could be better off using an ALV Grid rather than a table control.

This will in general depend highly on the application of course but for relatively simple structures the OO ALV version saves you all the work of scrolling, handling events etc etc.

It's even easier if you don't need to edit anything as you can use the SALV class

Table Controls were certainly better than the old "Manual"methods of having multiple lines in screens but the OO technology has essentially superceeded Table Controls.

Hi Rajesh

Go to screen painter layout, Left hand side you find a Element Palette, click on the 4th element from Bottom which is table control , drag & drop on the layout , you can see ur Table Control.
