IDOC_INPUT_SBINV error...

Guyz,

i'm trying to simulate SBINV (incoming invoice for self billing from customer to vendor) and have been trying to input values to this idoc via WE19 but getting following error :

The billing document for external document EXT_INV_NO has not been created

EXT_INV_NO is customer invoice number basing on which vendor's system should be able to create an invoice which isn't working..

any pointers pls?

guyz,

i found many sap notes regarding to self -billing which i implemented.... good news is invoice is being created in sap however idoc shows still error with error message "External document number<ext doc no> does not match reference document number<generated invoice number> "

system is assigning newly generated invoice number to XBLNR (reference doc) which obviously doesnt match coz customer's invoice number cannot be equal to vendor's invoice number...

it sounds like a mere bug to me, but could not find any oss on it... anyone found similar situation please ?

LOOKS LIKE NO ONE IN SDN COMMUNITY HEARD ABOUT SELF BILLING...NOT EVEN A SINGLE REPLY ON MY SELF BILLING ISSUES...

come on guyz...some would know, atleast SAP Mentors/moderators....
