Hello,

I just spotted your question. While I hope you've found the solution by now, my guess would be that you did not call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after getting the success message from BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.

At least that's what I forgot to when I first used this BAPI...

Regards,

Jan

Sales order creation through BAPI

(1) I have a BOM material , I enter it in VA01 --> It breaks down into header + 3 components on its own in VA01.

(2) I need to simulate the same through BAPI, therefore I first explode BOM using CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2, then I call BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATFROMDAT2 with the following parameters

In ORDER_ITEMS_IN I pass header + components (ORDER_ITEMS_IN -HG_LV_ITEM for components has header number of 10)

In ORDER_SCHEDULES_IN I pass quantity of header + components.

Sales order does not get created, I need that the sales order gets created from BAPI, then I check BAPI, it returns a SO number but if I go to transaction va03, I get the message

SD document 100044538 does not exist

Message no. V1 302

Diagnosis

This message is issued if no document header (VBAK) can be found for a SD

individual requirements record (VBBE) (inconsistency in R/3).

System response

During the initial supply of sales order, the following error message

occurs 'Document xxxxxx does not exist' V1 302.

Procedure

If the error occurs during the inital supply of data in APO, there is an

inconsistency between the requirements in the SD documents in R/3. This

R/3 inconsistency can be corrected using report SDRQCR21 in R/3.

I need to replicate BOM SO creation in VA01 in BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATFROMDAT2.

Any pointers -- thanks.

use the below FM to create sales order.

SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE.

Don't forget to call the BAPI 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' after calling the above FM
