Can we have more than two tablespaces?

Thanks,

Manjula.

Hi manjula,

Yes, you can add whatever custom tablespaces you want. As a matter of fact, this is a recomendation from SAP. If you have VERY large tables, they should be on tablespaces of their own.

There are a couple of different scenarios:

1. Large custom tables that need a seperate tablespace (in case you don't want to keep them in PSAPUSERxx).

2. Large SAP tables that you want to manage seperately.

You can check SAP documentation or the OSS notes and below link for further assistance..

http://sapbasis.wordpress.com/2007/08/14/checking-sap-r3-tablespaces/

pls reward if helps,

regards.
