Table Control

I have used fields from the Dictionary table for creating a table control in the screen painter using the tool TABLE CONTROL WIZARD.

No my concern is like i have taken up 5 field from the Dictionary table while creating the table control using the tool TABLE CONTROL WIZARD.

Now i want to add 2 more fields from the same dictionary table as additional columns into same Table control .

How can i do that ??

Hi Gaurav,

After you create a table control using the wizard and save it,you can still add some more columns to it.

Go to the screen layout.

Select the text field from the list of options available in the screen layout.

Now place this text field in the heading of the table control.

Now double click on this text field and give an appropriate text to it and save it.

Now select the input/output field and place in in the table control just below the text field that was created previously.

Now double click on that input/output field and give its name as <table_name>-<field_name>.

This will automatically make the input/output field linked to that paricluar field in the table which you want.

You can add as many fileds as u want in the table control in the same way.

In screen painter : click on (red) button to add Dictionary/program fields, choose the requested fields and drag/drop them in the table control.
