Field not filled automatically

Hi gurus,

in first screen transaction XK01, and in others transactions too, you write different fields to create an item, customer, etc.... When you return to the same transaction, the system fills fields automatically with the same values of the last time. We don't use parameters ID...

Is it posible that the system don't fill the fields with the last value automatically in a transaction?

hi,

Parameter IDs are not only set up in user masters, but in the code of the programs as well. So, in a transaction (like XD01, XD02, XD03 for example), you enter a value into company code, the system remembers (through parameter id) and uses it, next time, when you start the transaction (if you don't log out). It is just coded this way.
