How to trigger BADI

Hi,

Badi is found in the package of the transaction but still its does'nt trigger, pls let me know what has to be done to trigger that badi & also let me know the reasons for not triggering.

i ve tried putting break-point in the method & endmethod of badi.

badi name CRM_CLM_ASSIGNC_BADI

Transaction Name: CRMD_CALL_LIST

Test data: i ve entered the following fields in the transaction.

Transaction type: 0003

Horizon: current date

Target group: Gold, Metcash

Business hours : calling hours

Check box: create activity without calling time must be marked

Organization: 50000120

Call list title: conditional.

Arshi,

Did you implement your BADI.

If you did, activate the same.

If not, then first Implement the BADI that you have found with your changes and then activate

Now try putting a break point, it will stop.

check if this badi has any filter. you have to activate the badi to get trigger.

Hi,

The BAdI implementations of the enhancement concept are not treated as standalone objects; instead, they are integrated in the overall concept. Consequently, the tools for implementing BAdIs are part of the Enhancement Builder integrated in the ABAP Workbench.

Transaction SE19, up to now the only entry point for implementing classic BAdIs, now administers classic and new BAdI implementations. When displaying/changing an existing BAdI implementation, it analyzes whether the BAdI is a classic or a new one and then switches to the respective tool, which is the enhancement implementation editor for a new BAdI. Implementing classic BAdIs is still supported.

Since the classic SE19 transaction represents only a side entry point into the Enhancement Builder, you can also use the Object Navigator (SE80).

Their is Filter type in BADI

we have putted filter type and then activated but still its not triggering.

i tried to changed the filter type too still it wont work.

please suggest to trigger that BADI

Hi,

Did you get an answer for this one. I'm having the same problem. I know my BADI and filter are good (I'm an abaper with several years doing BADIs). But it's never called ... nor is the pre BADI class being called

hi goto class cl_exithandler, keep a bug point on method get_instance.

Then run the transaction, check whether this badi is called.

If it appears to be called only then it will trigger.

In CRM,

I think, this badi has to be activated from customization. Ask CRM functional consultant to do that.

Hi,

the badi is triggered from tcode CRMD_CALL_LIST when you set in this tcode assignment profile. the same assignment

profile should be set as filter on this badi.
