Regarding Authority Check

Hi Experts!

Is there any way i can do

Authority-check for ranges.

like i have range that is s_vkorg.

can i do a authority check against it.

i tried it like this

AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT object

ID name1 FIELD in s_vkorg.

but it gives my an error.

is there anyway we can do that.

loop at i_TVKO.
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT object
ID name1 FIELD in i_TVKO-vkorg. 
if sy-subrc ne 0.
  move 'Y' to v_noauth
endif.
endloop.
if v_noauth eq 'Y'.
  message e999 with 'Not Authorised'.
endif.

just couple of question.

is i_tvko is internal table of type tvko

or is just table with one field vkorg.

and can we use same logic for other types like username and ...
