Tcode: SE11 activation

Using tcode SE11 and selecting "changing a database table".

On the subsequent screen when we try to activate the

object, we get the error message "activity terminated"

and message no. E2 004.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,

Try to activate it from SE14, does the table contain data?

If it does maybe choose 'Activate and adjust database'and save data, but be careful if you do it in a production system!

Is that all it says? No activation log? Did you try doing an "activate and adjust" in transaction SE14.

Try looking at the activation log.

There are few things you can try.

can you give me some more info ?

What is the table type ? Cluster/Transp/Pool ?

Are you changing any key fields ?

Does the table has some data ?
