I have a requirement to change the material while creating/changing BOM. I am planning to use BOM_UPDATE BADI for this. Before saving BOM I am calling MM02 transaction to change material. At this point I am not able to change any thing to the material because the BOM Group (Material) is been locked with my user id. Can any body advice me how to unlock the BOM group and do the changes to Material and then save the BOM group.

Thanks,

Ram

hey try using sm12 to unlock the locked things. But for that u need authoriztions. Even we have some dequeue function modules to do this, again it checks for authorization.
