Error message on executing infoset-query (Urgent)

Hi All,

I have created a infoset & in the selections tab, i have defined a selection criteria & written a few lines of code for this selection criteria. I checked for syntax & it is ok.

Now when i try executing my query, the system promts this error:

'Local SELECT-OPTIONS are not allowed (FORM routine or GET event is

active).'

Can anyone help resolve this issue?

Hi Vivek,

Can you please paste the code which you have written.

Also make sure that you are writting you code in area AT SELECTION SCREEN.

If you need to fetch data according to the selection criteria, then write the code in the area RECORD PROCESSING.

Hi Mandeep,

As mentioned by you, i have written the code in 'At-Selection Screen'. I have not written any code in Record Processing, is that the reason am getting this error? What code should i enter in Record Processing section?

The basic logic is, i want the users to be restricted to querying in only 2 purchase organizations & the data shown also limited to these 2 purchase organizations.

Hi Vivek,

have you used following line in the code ?

SELECT-OPTIONS: EKORG FOR LFM1-EKORG.

If yes, remove this line of code and then try creating the select option in the "SELECTIONS" tab.

Hi Mandeep,

If i do that, i get this error

"ON_VALUE-REQUEST_FOR" should be followed by <parameter> or <select-

option>-LOW / <select-option>-HIGH."

I have done the following:

1. First defined a field called Y_EKORG in the Selections tab, defined it as a selection criteria, & in FOR field have entered LFM1-EKORG

2. I have then selected this field & written the code in that (i.e. in At Selection-Screen).

I am unable to directly select the At Selection-Screen option without defining this selection cirteria field.

Hi Vivek,

Have you changed the following line

AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR EKORG-LOW.

and

AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR EKORG-HIGH.

AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR Y_EKORG-LOW.

and

AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR Y_EKORG-HIGH.

respectively.

Mandeep,

I made the entries as mentioned by you, but same error as mentioned in my first post.

Any other suggestions?
