Hi all about Data Dictionary

Hi all experts ,

This is very urgent.In table T549A, there r only 5 fields.But when i execute, i am getting 6 fields in output.

How is it possible? Can anyone explain me about this issue?

Hi Kartikeyan,

Open table T549A -> Goto -> TextTable

there is a text table T549T associated with table T549A.

so u get additional text field when u c the contents of table T549A.

Thanks for ur reply.

how can i take all the values from the table only, bcoz i am using a function module to read the values from the table. In that, if iam giving the table name, it ll fetch the values from the table. so its not fetching the text values from the table.

What you said is correct, when you exicute T549A table which has only 4 fields on display, but when you exicute you find an extra field ATEXT ( Payer area text ) .

This because the standard program is written such format a when you try to display the contents even the 5 th field gets displayed . The standard report program which runs this process is SAPLSETB. Check this out once and try debugging it you will find a convincing answer.
