Here is SAP naming convention for Customer tables.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Pooled tables and cluster tables:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Length = 10&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Name Range: Y* Z* T9* P9* PA9* PB9* PS9* PT9* HRT9* HRP9* HRI9*&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Transparent tables:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Length = 16&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Name Range: YY* ZZ* (in the append structure, if possible)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Table field:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Length = 16&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Name Range: If included using the append structure: YY* ZZ*&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All the best,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Alexander&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>PROBLEM WITH TABLE NAMES</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;HI Experts,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to give my new table name as z_xxx_xxxx_xxxxxx.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But iam not able to give this name and create a new table since.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The length is bigger.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and it is not allowing me to keep the undersocres in the second place.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can any one advice&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
