MM-TCODE ME56 Enchancement req?

I need to change the O/P format for tcode ME56 form 3-liner to 1-liner along with the addition of some fileds for Vendor details.

Can any one tell me the way,how to do it?will it be done only by Badi/Exits.

I don;t have knowledge of them?can any one plz tell me?

Plz tell me the way how to proceed.

Moreover,i neeed to know where the description of quta agrement,scheduling arement,info records,outline agreemnets are defiend,at PR level or at PO level.

hi vipin,

You can get the userexits from 2 ways.

first :

goto me56.

menu:system->status.

you will find its program,double click on the program.

That program will open.

goto->attributes.

you will find package.

goto smod,and in information system you will find option for package,paste that package and press enter.

You will find these exits.

well i don't know how to work with exits,can u tell me ,how to find the specified one for changing the display & how to work with exits..i havn't hv any knowledge.

hi,

as i have listed down the possible exits, You need to figure poout from the description of exit which are those possible exits for your requirement.

Then one by one you need to test in tcode SMOD.

In SMOD,paste that exit name and click on radio button - > components and display.It will show you the possible function modules.You need to go to that FM by double clicking in the same and you will find one include statement.double click on that also. and you need to save the module.

After that write break-point inside the module. and test your transaction whether it is hitting the exit or not.

This way you can do this,

Plz tel me,when i am trying to enter into a FM,inside it i found the inculde statement,but when i m trying to entring into it, pop is coming acess key.

so how shd i do,either i hv to mane a Z fm in this regards??

it will neve ask for access key.It will issue an warning msg and you need to press enter to continue.Let me know the name of exit you are trying.

I am just trying to put break-ponit in exit :MM06E010,but as i am trying to entring into it's inculde,its displayimg prg name ZX(include name) is reserved for inculdes of Exit of FM.

even if i am trying to make it to editable mode tha its asking for ascess key.

so can you plz tell me the complete way,i am trying this thing 1 st time,so i need some help.

what is the diff b/w SMOD & COMD.

after putting the break-point,in the particular incule,if it doesn;t woak,than i hv to remove the break-point...its a risky process,as unfortly if i forget to remove any,it can hamper the performance.anyhow,can i make the exit FM as Z,than put the break-point.coz without making the exit in editable mode,how can i put break-pint inside the include.

Well frined ,i am completey new to this concelt,plz if u can explain me how to do..i will appriciate your kind concern.

no worries!!!!!!!!!!!

Program names ZX... are reserved for includes of exit function groups.

This is the message you are getting na. Press Enter as soon as you see this message.This is a warning message.It will ask for creating object,You save this object in a new request.After that include will open for coding. You can place break-point and check its availability by testing the transaction.Keep a habit of deleting the break-point as soon as you get the result , otherwise you can use break username instead of break-point where username is the name with which you got logon.It shows you only when you use the transaction then and then break-point will trigger and for other usernames it will won't trigger

but can you plz tell me alos that what has to be done with CMOD.why it is used?

is it had any thing to do with the SMOD.can i alos put the break-point through CMOD,or only SMOD is used.

hi,

CMOD : It is used to create the project which will contain n number of exits implementation.

SMOD : It is direct implementation of the exit.

There is no need for CMOD.Ultimatel when u create the project once,cmod screen is opened automatically.

Use SMOD directly.
