Hi Experts,

i have a Zstructure in that i need to insert the (custome)field unit cost.for this how to create domain & reference table and reference amount field.plz tell me step by step.

in the COMPONENT I PUT THE FIELD AS "UNITC" AND IN COMPONENT TYPE I PUT AS "ZUNITC" AFTER DOUBLE CLICKING IT ITS ASKING DOMAIN SO HOW TO CREATE DOMAIN . ITS DATA TYPE SHOULD BE "NUM" LENGTH 13 DECIMAL PLACES 2.

PLZ HELP ME EXPERTS.

first create a domain and then assign it to the data element and assign the data element to ur field...

its not mandatory that u create numc or varchar... it depends on the data values u have.... for currency it would be curr. for date datum... so it all depend on ur data...

U can use the Domain Wertv7 for NUM 13,2

Reference Table : VBAP

Reference Field : Netwr

Hope this solves ur problem

hi sunitha,

Once you doudle click on the ZUNITC it might have taken you to the data elemnt screen and asked the doamin name.There you specify the domain name say ZUNITDOMAIN and again doudle click on it it will take you to the domain screen and there you enter data type as NUMc and length 13 and decimal places 2

now activate the domain and come back to the data elemtn screen and give some description to the fields and activate the data elemtn with the above the created domain.Now come back to the main screen.

Since the data element and domain are cretaed for the field. Now go the tab "Currency/Reference fields(I didn't remeber the exact tab name) and give the corresponding unit field against the UNITC .Otherwise give the table refernce of T001 and field waers.
