SD question

Hi!

Is there anyone know, what is the exact relation between a GOODS ISSUE and an SD INVOICE? Both are made from a delivery, but unfortunately there is no exact realtion between them... At least I didn't find it yet.

Is there anyone who knows it?

Hi,

Goods Issue: when you are giving/ issuing stock to customers or internal purpose.

you can issue goods to

1) customers

2) as well as in the same plant to another storage location

3) to different plant different storage location.

Its related to outbound delivery when we issue goods/ stock to customers.

After goods issue only we send invoice to customers.

but if issue goods to other storage location in the same plant or different plant we will not send invoice since it is internal transfer.

In that case Material Document number will be created with souce location and target location.so here we have track from where to where goods moved.

only when we send delivery to customers we issue invoice.

No exact match found... However, collecting them based on the purchase order's items could give a solution.
