HI Gurus,

I am using an alv grid. I have a checkbox for every rows. i have to read the rows for which the checkbox is clicked. I am using a method GET_SELECTED_CELLS in my program (satndard method), in a document it says that this method will give me the index of the rows and the name of the selected cells, but this method is only giving me the last selected cells and not all the cells. whether this method will only give u the value of the last selected cell or will it give the value for all selected cells. ( note i have given SEL_MODE = 'A' in the layout).

You Can use the Method GET_SELECTED_ROWS.

Pls Check for your Ref....the Standard Program BCALV_EDIT_05.

Hi,

I want to get the column name also.. i just want to know whether this (get_selected_cells) will give only last selected column or all the selected columns.

On using GET_SELECTED_CELLS Importing parameter ET_CELL returns table with information on one row per cell.

The ALV Grid Control returns the values, the column name and the row index of the relevant cell.

The ALV Grid Control returns only the indexes of cells that are selected individually. If an entire row or column is selected, the table returned remains empty.

GET_SELECTED_ROWS will give row and column info as well.
