When I try to create an order this function module is called. When I perfrom this under my user id I can successfully create the order. However, when I do it as one of our users It will not bring back an order number?

Can this be related to security or config? Since it is a BAPI is some congif missing for this user? Anybody know?

Check the return structures of that BAPI, if it points you to the problem. You can also try SU53 after executing the BAPI to see if there is an authorization missing for that user.

Hi Tom,

It is related to the authorization issues... ask your basis team to compare the authorization checks of your id and the other id for which it is not bringing the order no...if they give the authorization it'll work for him also.check SU53 after executing the BAPI. take a screen shot and send it to ur basis team to provide authorization for missing objects
