Fetching archiving data from archived database tables

Hi All,

Here I am facing problem to fetch archived data.

Actually some sales orders which are posted in 2005 are archived but they are appearing in VBUK master table but does not exist in VKDFS, VBAK.

By obeserving I came to know that those sales orders are archived. I have'nt faced these problem earlier. This is first time.

Could please can any body educate about archiving and let me know how to fetch those kind database tables .

Please send some docs and sample code if extist.

Hi Prakash,

There is a oss not which says that if the table entries is not deleted because of program error. Oss note is 193053.

But when u archived and deleted sales order earlier u didn't face this type of problem. Please check followings

1. Goto AOBJ -> Select SD_VBAK > Click on structure defenation > Check VBUK segment is Not marked for deletion.

2. Repeate the check for RV_LIKP as well.

3.Then please execute the read program after write program and check whether the table entries is written in the archive file.
