Need tables for the fields

Hi,

I want to know the tables where these fields can be available...

Field “SERNR1” - Serial Number

• Field “MATNR1” – Assy Matl

• Field “SERNR” – Assy Serial NO

• Field “ARKTX” – Assy Description

Pls let me know as soon as possible..

Hi Vishnu,

1) How To Get Tables from a Program?

ANS:use the FM GET_TABLES , pass the program name it will give the tables used in that program

IN the transaction ST05 ..Switch on the SQL TRACE ..

Execute your program..

Switch off the SQL trace..

THen Press "List trace" button in ST05 to see the SQLs used..

2) When u hav fields and want to know the tables:

->Go to se11.

->Enter the field name in the " tables " field

->Then when you get the data element screen go to " where used function" on the application toolbar and click on it.

4) Now you would hav all the tables that in which that paticular field was used.

Hi,

check table vbap / VBRP/ LIPS , in those tables you can get

ARKTX,MATNR,SERNR fields.

But there is no field with the name sernr1 in standard databse tables. May be that you can find in customized tables created specific to your project.that we cant see .

but about matnr1 you can get in the following tables.

Hi,

In table vabp u can find arktx,matnr and sernr...

but there is not field in name matnr1

and sernr1..(My opinion)

if u want u can check it

goto se11..>>date type (give the field name)

execute the table dd03l~~>give the field name~~->u can the table names for the corresponding field
