Add more fields in standard BAPI

Hi experts,

Is it possible to add more fields in standard BAPI?

for ex: BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1.

I want to add more fields to this BAPI. Is it possible? If not, what is the alternate to do this.

Writing BDC is only the way? Pls let me know.

Why do you need to add more fields to standard BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1?

If you want to change more fields because you need to include your custom fields than you can use the EXTENSIONIN table of that BAPI.
