How to run Script prgm

I have a script program ( Report ) its connected with a script. while i run this program its not giving any output. One of my senior told me that use output type ZRDE. I dont know how to use this. can any one plz help this issue?

Hi,

do u have any select options in the report? if you have then there will be a option called output type. use the appropraite type.

Adding some more points

goto to transcation NACE. then select the appropriate type. for example V2 for shipping. click on display. now u will get a list of output types.

if you dont know the exact output type for your program, then click on each custom output type and press view. click on the second sub folder from the tree. in the general tab, they might have configured the output type with your script program.

use this output type.

Take a help of functional guy if possible

Check out the transaction NACT for more information on the message type.

If you are working on the sales message types than select V3.

Now, you can check out the program and sapscript attached to one of the statndard message type.

Generally all this calling program has one ENTRY perform which drives the SAPScript output.

In Nact, The out type is available. after selecting the output type how to run the script?
