That is required only in case you are using the Concept of SUB OBJECTS.

Create a data domain for the data element and provide that domain in the field

'Number length domain'.

In this case there is no need of providing any value table to the domain

Regards,

Abhishek

I don't think it's mandatory to use.

You can create Domain with out Value range

If you are using Sub objects, then its mandatory to have a domain and also a value table associated with the domain,

If you just want to create a number range for your field,

a) either create a domain for your data element and use that domain in the field

"Number length Domain"

b) use an existing domain having the same type and length in the field "Number length Domain"

You can't use a Data Element in the field "Number length domain".

Regards,

Abhishek

Regards,

Abhishek

I need little clarification about the value table.

As per my understanding value table should contain the values which I am expecting to be entered in my table.

If yes. Then my value table will be my number range object.

Is that correct...

Or my value table and my number range object are same.
