attach tcode to z-table

Hi all,

I have used table maintainance generator for my z-table.

then using se93 i have selected the option parameter with transaction.

in the next screen which values i need to fill up.

it is giving dump i dont know the exact reason.

whether i have to select transaction or screen.

pls suggest me.

check this link

Go to SE93 -> Create

Choose transaction with Parameter

Transaction : SM30

Skip first screen : checked

At the end : default Values

Name of the screen Field Value

VIEWNAME <Table name>

UPDATE X

This one also has details of how to create tcode for table maintenance

You need to create a table maintainance for that table through table maintanance generator.

Than you can use the SE93 to create a tcode using Parameter transaction.

Hi Cnu,

As per your requirement, You have to go to Transaction code SE93 and select "Transactio with Parameter(Parameter Transaction). Also enter description for the transaction...

then click continue......

Then on next screen you can see the sub screen " Default Values for "

Enter trasaction "SM30".

Then Check " Skip Initial Screen".

Then go to other sub screen" GUI support".

Check all three check boxes.

Then go to other sub screen with header " Default Values"

Name of screen fields & Values.

VIEWNAME - (your table maintainance name)

UPDATE - X

then check and save the trasaction....

It should work . I dont think it will give any error.....Otherwise your table maintainance might have problem..
