Hi,

To map a logical system you just have to be sure that the SAP client to which you are going to assign as logical system must be unique to your system (tcode BD54).

I mean the logical system must be unique company-wide. It must not be used by any other system in the ALE integrated group.

The link of the help document http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b4/b0b13bb3acef3ce10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

For more help you can go to BD54 and press F1 in coloumn Logical System. you will get quiet a help from there.

I hope my help works for you.

Regards

Hy,

I have to map a logical system into a productive environment.

I do not have to convert an exsisting logical system, i just have to map it for the first time.

Are there any constraints? Does anybody have an official document on this topic?

Thanks in advance and,

see you to the next Tech ED.
