BAR CODE PRINTING

<b>Hi Experts;

I have problem with Bar code printing. We have replaced 3 printers Lexmark Optra to Lexmark T644 . We have assigned IP and Unix print queue to new printers. We can print from SAP anything except bar codes. Output in nos instead of bar codes. Please give me suggestion. We had external bar code card installed in printers.

Chek on the printer settings... if u can see in the print preview then the

necessary barcode settings are fine.. u shud check on whether the printer

is capable of printing barcodes...

Check whether your printer needs a BarDIMM installed to create barcodes, and

ensure you are printing to a named SAP printer via a device type rather than

FrontEnd printing as a LOC or LOCL printer (as this will not tend to result

in accurate representations of SAPScript as they are device type

independent.

Hi Navin

We are using this printer to warehouse for printing invoices. Printing is working fine from SAP side.But As you have mentioned BarDIMM nee to be installed, I am not sure about it. plz let me know the procedure to check it out.

Hi Naveen

Thanks for quick response. We have Lexmark T644 Series printers. The first link is point to Brother Series. There is a table for Bar code along with their control code sequence. Is it usable for Lexmark series? We are using 128 Barcode type is there are multiple 128 barcodes and HEX nos. Please suggest me.
