Update Custom Fields in Contract

Hi Guys,

Need to update a custom field in table VEDA. Cannot use a BDC as it is a pushbutton field and it is an indicator.

Couldnt research much on this but there is a BAPI BAPI_CUSTOMERCONTRACT_CHANGE, where i might need to use the Extension table to update the custom field.

Please let me know if any of you have done anything like this for VEDA.

I think it is not possible to update the customer created fields via EXTENSIONIN form BAPI_CUSTOMERCONTRACT_CHANGE. Because for SD in order to use the Extension we need to have the BAPE structure. Say BAPE_VBAP for SO item.

But there isn't any BAPE_VEDA exists in system (ECC 5.0) So, I think you will not be able to use the Extensions for this BAPI FM.
