      <title>Filename incorrect using BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTVIEW2</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dear experts,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm using BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTVIEW2 to download doc file from server to local PC, but the filename that I downloaded is not same as the orginal filename. The downloaded filename always as "_&amp;lt;USERNAME&amp;gt;&amp;lt;NO&amp;gt;.TIF", it always save as my username+running number, I want the original filename instead of this, how to do it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Facing this same issue, I found that I can avoid the renaming of the file by setting the flag NO_TMP_NAM.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Path in SPRO is Document Management&lt;DEL&gt;&amp;gt;General Data&lt;/DEL&gt;&amp;gt;Define Workstation Application, then put an "X" in the column "NoRename"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;--Peter&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
