Can some body tell me how to code in the requirement that unless i check the checkbox the adjacent i/o field should be no display only if i check the checkbox the adjacent i/o field should be active.

by useing EVENT level in table maintance you can do this

Hi,

These validations can be done in the PAI of the table.

Also you can code it in the Events of the Table Maintenance.

Go to Table Maintenance Generator of the table.

Create the Table Maintenance.

Got to Environment->Modification->Events.

There are many events from which you can use.
