hi gurus,

i am using alv list to display output. in that first field is character field and other five fields are floating numbers. now when i insert some text in char field

in first line. and if i see output i get

for eg.

abc 0.00 0.00 0.00 0.00 0.00.

if i dont want these zeros. and only want. abc in first line and all other empty

eg.

abc

how can i do this.

set W_FIELDCATALOG-NO_ZERO = 'X' for all Columns while Fieldcatalog table is being built.So that If entire has ZERO values ,It does not display ZERO's.

Hi,

For that u have to change the datatype of other fields from float to character.
