Upload long text to tcode ca02

I have to upload the long text for the operations(tcode CA02).

I have used the Function modules INTTAB_SAVE_TEXT and INTTAB_COMMIT_TEXT.But the text is getting updated in the table stxl.But when i check it in the tcode ca03 its not available there.

Please help me.Its very urgent

Hi Shibin,

U need to put the correct object ID, obj name and other parameters. Try to use SAVE_TEXT.

That every thing is correct.If already long text is available for that operation then it will update with new one in the transaction.But if long text is not there for any operation it will not update in the transaction.

Sorry i wrongly told u SAVE_TEXT. IT is <b>CREATE_TEXT</b>.

Thanks for your help.But i have tried that also.But its not working.when we create a long text in ca02 , a field txtsp in plpo table has to updated with language of the text,then it will get solved.But how to update this field value.

Hi Shibin,

I have the same problem in uploading long text. I used BDC to upload junk text in the long text there by long text check box got checked. Now I'm using CREATE_TEXT function module to upload long text. Everything works fine but if there is any operation short text it is deleting. How to retain operation short text (PLPO-LTXA1).

Hope you resolved your issue..If yes, then kindly help me.
