Hi,

Upgrade from 4.6c to ECC6.

In a few of our custom programs we are retrieving the internal table data from MEMORY ID "OPENFI00001050E"

The internal table is t_bkpf .

Example of the process in one of the program is,

Doing a Call Transaction for ABT1N - Intercompany Asset Transfer.

after the Call transaction we need to capture the document number that the asset was posted to.

When the Tcode ABT1N is directly used to transfer the asset, the document number and fiscal year

are displayed in the status bar after the transfer. the message class is

Message type__________ S (Success message)

Message class_________ AA (Messages for Asset Accounting)

Message number________ 374

Message variable 1____ 1006

Message variable 2____ 0500007508

But after the Call Transaction

    CALL TRANSACTION 'ABT1N' USING it_bdcdata

                      MODE 'N' UPDATE 'S'

                      MESSAGES INTO it_messtab.

In the program the it_messtab internal table (like bdcmsgcoll) is not populated with the details of

the document created, i.e AA 374.

Hence as a workaround we used the MEMORY ID "OPENFI00001050E" which had the values of the internal

table t_bkpf from which we retrieve the document number and the fiscal year .

The Memory ID "OPENFI00001050E" is set in the Function Module "OPEN_FI_PERFORM_00001050_E"

  EXPORT T_BKP1 T_BKPF T_BSEC T_BSED T_BSEG T_BSET T_BSEU

         TO MEMORY ID MEMID.

Using IMPORT t_bkpf FROM MEMORY ID memid. to retrieve the t_bkpf values

where memid = "OPENFI00001050E"

But in ECC6 this Export is commented out , due to OSS Note 530655, and hence the IMPORT

fails.

Not able to find a workaround to this in OSS.

Appreciate any Input to solve this issue.

Thanks and regards

Lalitha
