      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;First, go into the transaction and do F1 help on the serial number field.  Does it give you a transparent table field or a structure field.  If transparant table, then most likely that is where you will find your serial number.
