Regarding Tracing of Remote function module

Hi ,

my requirement is i have created Remote Function Module.My RFC working fine in SAP.it is calling from third party . so while calling from third party can we trace the execution of function module in SAP. While calling it is giving error in third party software. I want to confirm whether it is error from my side or third party.

Hi,

you could use transaction st01,st05 to trace the rfc call.

1. Ask them what the error message is.

2. Ask them what parameters are they sending.

3. Test your FM with the same parameters and see if any errors are raised.

4. Develop a test ABAP program and call your FM via RFC and see if you get errors.

Trace won't help much to why the FM is returning an error. You need to debug. Steps 3 and 4 allow you to debug.

Hi,

But in SAP it is working fine.

I have tested my function mdule by calling in ABAP program . Than also it is working fine.

So i want to confirm whether problem from my side or probelm from calling program from third party.
