How does cost analysis work?

Greetings!

I would like to ask how does the production order cost analysis work (CO03 > Goto > Costs > Analysis).

I need a description on where the data came from and how it is selected..

The costing data will be stored in COSP,COEP and COST tables

take the OBJNR,KOSTL fields from the order related tables AUFK,AFKO and AFPO and pass to them and take the costs from the above tables

Is it applicable even if the variances are not yet settled? Meaning, CO88 was not yet executed.
