edit data on the screen

Hi,

Currently, i need to do a program, that retrieve a list of the data from a ztable, display on the screen, some of the fields are allowed to edit. After edit the related fields, save it to the table, then, create a button to process the edited data from the ztable.

How should i start that? is this dialog programming? anyone of you have sample program for a similar logic?

u can go either for ALV or dialog programming table control0

Hi Janice,

Please use Editable ALV for the same.

You have to use SE38 transaction to create a report for ALV.

Sample program is "BCALV_TEST_GRID_EDITABLE".
