Saving spool to excel

Hello all,

Does anybody know how can I write spool to excel file? I know that FM 'LIST_DOWNLOAD' can save what's currently on screen but first I would have to display spool as transaction SP01 does and it's not that ease as I thought. Any ideas ?

Hi,

SUBMIT rm07idif WITH SELECTION-TABLE li_selection

EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN.

CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY'

TABLES

listobject = li_listobject

EXCEPTIONS

not_found = 1

OTHERS = 2.

CHECK sy-subrc = 0.

CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_LIST'

TABLES

listobject = li_listobject

EXCEPTIONS

empty_list = 1

OTHERS = 2.

IF sy-subrc <> 0.

ENDIF.

Or here you can send the spool to Excel.

to automate the process of display.

nothing could be easier.

RSPO_DOWNLOAD_SPOOLJOB downloads to a flat file

That could be processed to CSV & captured into Excel.

There is a possibility of download the spool file as txt-file. .

Use Tranx SP01 - select the spool entry -->"spool request --> forward as text . You will find the file in your SAP work directory as <sid><spool#>.
