Upgrade Ecc 6.0: Unicode error

Hi Gurus,

We have upgraded our system from 4.6 B to ECC 6.0. After upgarding we are facing problem that (Special Character Ñ no longer allowed).

How can we fix the problem? Is it a Unicode error?

Use tcode uccheck.

I have Checked UCCHECK, it´s not an Unicode problem.

How can I correct this error of special character.

If your system is not a unicode system, this cant be a unicode error. This might be a corrupt or missing character table. Ask you basis team about that.

We have seen in our upgrade an issue with special variations of A similar to N you are facing. Later we found it was a representation of ALPHA in Greek. I guess you may have to login in the languages used to store the information and find the correct representation of the charater. Later you can eliminate or convert them.

Is there any automatic way to correct this error. The program is working properly in the SAP 4.6B version.

the best solution is going to the basis guys and asking them to have a look at the code page.
