Am trying to find the Host name while running the BSP Application . i hve used 'THUSRINFO' Function module and got the IP Address .

HOST Name from BSP

But if i pass the IPAddress to the FM

'RFC_IP_TO_HOST'

it will not return the terminal name (host).

Do u know why ?

m not an expert in BSP but is hostname not a part of the URL itself??

the host however may have a different intranet and internet name...the one used in the URL is effectively a routing string that tells the route which was used to reach the server.

post ur query in the BSP forum for better responses..
