What is prerequest of kernel upgrade.

Hi Raju,

There is no pre-requisite fro kernel upgrade.

You just need to download and apply proper kernel from service market place.

<b>Make sure you have taken backup of old server directory.</b>

One imp point: After backing up old kernel directory, extract new kernel into same directory.

U can download it from http://service.sap.com/instguides under SAP------>NetWeaver → Release 04 → Maintenance.
