New Editor Problem

Hi SAP Guru's,

I'm working with sap gui 710, and was using the new sap editor (wich i like) but for some reason now when i try to use it, it freezes and i have to use the old editor. I looked in SAPGUI trace files e i found this error

Can anyone help me out ?

PS: I've tried to uninstall and re-install SAPGUI without success.

Hello Recardo,

I don't know on which version you are running but I had a similar problem after installing 710. But there is a patch available that solved it. Check with your basis team, if they can download the patch and provide it to you.

Hope that solves your problem.

The version I have is release 710 Final Release, file version 7100.1.1.1028 build 898946

I was using patchlevel 4, i've reupdated and the problem persists.

Hi,

I think you have authorization issue. Consult your basis team to have your user name added to the Authorization list in order to use the New ABAP Editor. Once they add it, you should be able to use the New ABAP editor.

II don't think that the problem is that 'caus in another machine with the same user I can use the new editor.
