Creating a custom table

Hi guys,

I want to create a custom table in 4.6c.I am including some standard fields in my table too. My requirement is that i want to keep some fields as display only.

How do i do this?

Plz help me out on this.

hi frank

u take the which u want the fields of data elements and copy to ur table filed like

for example mara-matnr data element is MATNR

so ur table enter the sam filed ok u do like this

filed name zmatnr data element is MATNR like that u follw ok

fieldname dataelemet datatype legnth deci shoet desc

ZMATGP ZMATGP CHAR 2 0 customer code

ZMATNR1 MATNR CHAR 18 0 Material Number

Hi Frank,

I am not able to get your query....

1. Do you have table maintenance genarated created for this custom table? If yes then you can make the fields as display (in-active)

2. If you are planning to maintain, using custom program (table control), then you can use screen field attribute to disable the field....
