    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Gary,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;domain specifies the type of variable, it is global u can use it in any table.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;insted u dont want to use u can even use built in type which is also speicifies type of variable but it is local to that table varaible itself.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for ex if u have a variable of char(3) which u want to use many times instead of declaring many times the type u can create domain and use it wherever u want .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Values of Domains are saved in Domain level only.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the time of domain creation go to -&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR originaltext="---" /&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; Value Range.
