Hi all!

I'm working with CATS and i cant use the standar workflow, i'm creating a custom workflow and i want to starts it with an event thats occurs when i release data by CAT2 transaction, it means an status change in CATSDB table.

How can i trigger that event, i try with BSVX transaction but i cant find an statusOT compatible with my BOT. My BOT is an extension of CATS BOT. Does anybody knows an statusOT compatible with CATS BOT? or how can i create an statusOT compatible?

Does anybody knows if i'm taking the right way or if i'm wrong?

I hope somebody can helps me.

If there is no status object or change document available, you must create the event using either a BADI or a User Exit. Several of both are available for CATS. I cannot tell you which one since we do not use CATS. You can create the event using one of the following function modules.

SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT

SWE_EVENT_CREATE

SWE_EVENT_CREATE_IN_UPD_TASK
